What is Small Things CATS?

Small Things CATS is a 100% volunteer run, not-for-profit Cat Rescue and Adoption Centre in Sudbury, Ontario, led by a Volunteer Board of Directors.

Small Things is committed to helping homeless cats in our community find loving homes and in reducing the pet population through spaying and neutering. We focus on rescuing cats from our local animal shelters with almost all of our cats coming from The Rainbow District Animal Shelter or The City of Greater Sudbury Animal Shelter. Due to the high volume of cats coming in to our local Shelters and low redemption rates, many of these cats are left homeless and few people want to adopt an unfixed cat. Small Things goal is to provide the best possible care and environment to all cats in our adoption centre and educate adopters about responsible animal guardianship.

In 2017, we found ‘Fur-ever Homes’ for over 359 cats from our local shelters and we are well on our way to adopting out over 300 more this year!
